Fr. John Mary's Homily - Jesus was leaving to ascend in glory. Yet at the same time, He promised, “I will be with you always.” In the great trials of the Church today, more than ever, He wants us to know that He Himself is the Head of the Church. He will never abandon her.
God the Father speaks: "...My children – I need your faith and your trust - that act of your soul that gives me my rightful place as God, as your God, the only One Who is."

"The Church will follow my Jesus in His Passion. Do not forget this. And Just as my Jesus was abandoned and betrayed, and was handed over to the power of the enemy - the destroyer - in order to redeem you by accepting such a humiliating death, so too the Church is being abandoned, betrayed, and will soon be handed over to the power of the antichrist. It will be decimated and will be put to death."
